Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership website
Website project management and design for a charity partnering employers and schools to increase social mobility by building young people’s confidence, improving their skills and raising aspirations for the future.
I planned and led the UX discovery phase through iterative navigation structures and page wireframes working with a group of key stakeholders from the organisation, business partners and local schools.
The design concept I created adopted the use of existing brand identity flat colour background banners, colour palette and typography to ensure the site was developed in line with other digital and offline resources. Building on this, new photography of local school programme events was commissioned to support the copy content and help identify and describe the wide range of class age groups and event topics available to corporate volunteers.
New functionality included a bespoke event booking process featuring graphic calendar event tabs, helping users quickly identify the ‘what, where, when’ options for both individuals and groups. Testing by some of the charity’s business partner clients ensured the final process was intuitive and responsive. Previously, booking had been carried out via email and phone and had to be manually processed.
Project management duties included:
- Functional specification and creative brief writing
- Management reporting including weekly cost, change, progress, risk and quality updates
- Project planning
- Stage planning and delivery
- Third party procurement and management
